Design and Manufacturing in our Research Group
From the day man started inventing, his chain of thoughts, plans and ideas are captured and stored in all types of medium. The most primitive recording device was the early stone drawings during the caveman days. Then paper was invented and blueprints of mechanical drawings were the more useful and transportable storage medium of machines designs. This invention is also a facilitator of knowledge transfer in the form of books. The electronic age saw the birth of computers and gave rise to Computerised Aided Design (CAD). Today, we have a variety of CAD software that is of high complexity and geometrical precision. We certainly have come a long way from the ancient age of mechanical design and has transformed our methods and tools entirely. Nevertheless, man’s ingenuity and attitude will always remain the same. He will always be inventive and inquisitive.
Kruger’s team of design engineers has the same attitude when it comes to design and innovation. We are specialized in the mechanical design of fan component products and make use of our expertise in Computerised Aided Manufacturing (CAM) stations that engineered our ventilation systems. Through the delivery of good design blueprints, high quality fan components can be rolled out of manufacturing stations and assembled with accurate fit. Since manufacturing is our core business, the Design & Realisation group is one of the most important facilities in Kruger. It is also the largest team in the Research Department.
We also conduct training for our engineers so that the latest knowledge in CAD and CAM can be captured and utilised. The momentum of learning is always present and helps to keep our engineers up-to-date with the latest technology. That is why we have excellent engineering facility in the industry. Design creativity and innovation are emphasised and expected from all our team members.
